Recently, I feel like my practice is becoming more refined, little by little.

It’s been about two and a half years since I started playing jazz, and while I can improvise, it just doesn’t sound like jazz. That’s been my biggest struggle. I’ve been experimenting with different practice methods and making improvements, but I still don’t get the results I want. I’ve been repeating this cycle for about two years now. I can get through a solo in a tune, but it still feels far from the jazz I listen to.
